As head of APAC, Vikesh Kotecha is responsible for driving the firm’s continued expansion in the region, working closely with our global and APAC leadership team. He is based in Hong Kong.

Vikesh joined Citadel Securities in 2024 from Millennium Management, where he served as Head of Asia Equities. Prior to joining Millennium in 2020, Vikesh was Managing Director and Head of Derivatives, Asia at UBS from 2017 to 2020. From 2010 to 2017 Vikesh was Head of Equities, Asia, at Barclays, and previously worked at Lehman from 2004.

Vikesh earned his BSc. in economics from the London School of Economics and an MSc in mathematical trading and financial engineering from the Cass Business School in London.
